Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Dehay account and personal data at any time. Here is exactly what happens.
Delete in the app, or email us
In Dehay Family go to Settings → Delete account. You can delete immediately or schedule deletion in 30 days. You can also download your data first. If you cannot open the app, email us from the address linked to your account.

- Your profile (name, email, date of birth, gender, country)
- Posts, comments and reactions you created
- Photos and videos you uploaded to Gallery and D-hay
- Chat messages you sent (text and media are cleared; the thread may remain for family)
- Calendar events and reminders you created
What may be kept
- Anonymised diagnostic logs used to keep the app stable
- Records we are legally required to keep (e.g. abuse reports, tax records)
- Your family-tree slot as a relative card without an account
- Content another family member also owns a copy of (e.g. a shared photo they saved)
Timeline
We confirm your request within 72 hours and complete deletion within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law.
